Message-ID: <92313.225156DED110@psuvm.psu.edu> From: Dan the Man <DED110@psuvm.psu.edu> Date: Sun, 8 Nov 1992 22:51:56 EST Organization: Penn State University Lines: 15 I'm on a cranky IBM 3090 running VM/ESA and I'm trying to ftp 386BSD. So far I've been unable to connect to several ftp sites, and those that I have been able to get to have files tar'ed and Z'ed. I can deal with Unix Z-compression on my host machine, but it chokes when trying to de-Tar. As if that weren't enough, I can't seem to mget files with mutliple.names.like. this; I'm only allowed a file Name and Type. Argh. I'm also not sure what files I need or what to do with them when I get them. If anyone could explain how they got their copy, I'd be most thankful (and less stressful :). Please E-mail, (or post too) as our news server has been a pain lately. Thanks in advance.
