Well I've started on a ported software list. I wouldn't even call this a
first draft. It's really so we can decide if the format's right and get
people to start making submissions. If you've ported any software to
386bsd then fill in the form below and mail it to me. If you think there
should be other fields in the form then let me know.

Persoanlly, I'd like to see the packages get installed at ref.tfs.com so
that if people see something they want in the list they can try it on
ref.tfs.com and know that the package they get from there will work as
specified. The maintainer entry is an attempt to mirror the
/etc/workgroups file at ref.tfs.com, this may change when things get
more organised.

I've also said I'll produce a work in progress list. If you're currently
working on porting software, developing new drivers or fixing kernel
bugs then send me the details. I've had some replies but there are a lot
more people that I know have taken particular areas of the system under
their belt. I told Lynne about this and she also thinks it would be a
good idea to get a list like this done and to use it to organise
appropriate categories for new work. Draw up a form something like the
ported software one, including anything you think is relevant. When
I've had enough replies so that I know what people think should be
included I'll draw up a standard form for that too.

Here's the blank form for submitting ported software details. The
ghostscript entry below, from me, shows how I'd like to get them.
