This is not intended as flame. I previously had Diamond Stealth 64 Vram (S3968). Local store gave me a Matrox Millenium for test. Matrox gave me so much better picture with same monitor that I changed to it instantly. Matrox costs something like $300. You can have RedHat bundle with Metro-x for $50. I personally am willing to pay that extra $50 to get that better picture quality. My point: If you can afford a Matrox, you can afford to buy the X-server.
