I obtained the source, compile it, setup the config files as it describes and when I tried to say "wine /c/windows/sol.exe" it hung X, then about 5 seconds later, it rebooted my machine!!! I was not running as root. This pattern is repeatable with a different windows program (however, I only repeated it once more ... fsck'ing sucks). Has anyone had this same experience with the latest build of wine? If so, how far back do I need to go in order to get a version that works and does spontaneously reboot my machine? I've contacted the people in charge of "wine" development, but they knew nothing of current FreeBSD compatibility/operability.
