To enable it you would have to Yes and No. kargl[287] uname -a FreeBSD troutmask.apl.washington.edu 2.1.5-RELEASE FreeBSD 2.1.5-RELEASE #0: Wed Aug 7 06:26:18 PDT 1996 root@:/usr/src/sys/compile/TROUTMASK i386 kargl[288] ls /lkm/l* /lkm/linux_mod.o* kargl[289] FreeBSD-current has direct support for ext2fs. On pre-FreeBSD-2.2 systems, the only way to share data between linux and FreeBSD via a partition is probably through a MS-DOS file system. This is a whole another can of worms. Running linux binaries through emulation has been possible at least back to FreeBSD-2.1. [deletia] > > Again, to the extent of my knowledge, only FreeBSD-current has ext2 or > linux support.
