Without fail, they would say >>"sure we've got X in stock" and then I'd find out 3 days later that Actually, I had the opposite experience. I called them and was told that the Buslogic SCSI controller was not in stock and might take a couple of days to ship out. It ended up getting to me 2 days after I ordered it. The only "bad" experience I've had was, I ordered a wide Micropolis disc, and wide Buslogic 958 board, but they didn't have any wide cables to hook them together. <shrug> I ended up ordering it from another supplier. Over all, that order was very plesent. I had ordered a WD Caviar 2.1GB drive from them, and it failed 30 days later. I talked to Nagesh (sp?) and said I was interested in swapping it for a Micropolis. Their price however was about $100 more than other suppliers. They offered me a good price for the trade. They write the serial numbers on the invoice (I like that), they've written to make sure I'm happy with what I have (noone else has done that before). They have good prices, and I've been happy with my return to them. They're my preferred vendor -- I've spent about $6K in the last 3 months with them. >Talk to Kedar (kedar@asacompters.com)! He is the person to deal with. Who exactly is Kedar, and how would I know I wanted to talk to him? Is he sales or management?
