X-Newsreader: IBM NewsReader/2 v1.2.5

I just got FreeBSD 2.1.5 and I want to install it over a 2.1 version. I read the readme
file in the disk and it sounds like there is no "easy" way to do the update.

I don't mind installing again, but I wanted to know what files should I
backup and how do I back them up. I know I want to keep the files from
the home directory. What else should I keep?

Is there an easy way to list all files upated in the last X number of days?
