Such a driver is called "ccd" in FreeBSD > and comes with configuration utility "ccdconfig". It's available in BSD/OS 2.1. The device driver is called "cd" instead of "ccd". You need to edit a file to define the drives you want to use (no ccdconfig). When a number of users asked for a better way to do this, BSDI responded that they'd have an easily configurable striping subsystem in a future re- lease, not based on the cd driver.
