Currently only "IP over raw HDLC" is supported, which means there is _NO_ PPP available! Both will change in the future, but nobody is able to give a date. We are currently in the process of rewriting the D-channel layer 1, 2 and 3 stuff, pointers to a LAPD/LAPB stack with a BSD-style copyright are highly appreciated! Currently the DSS1 (EuroISDN) and the german national 1TR6 protocols are supported. Although it seems to be quite stable, people attempting to install the package should be prepared to a) read (!!!) the docs and man pages before asking questions b) help themselves first, and c) send in diffs to docs man pages and code. The BISDN package is available from ftp.muc.ditec.de in directory 'isdn' as file 'bisdn-XXX.tar.gz' where XXX represents the release and version number. This ftp server is mirrored by ftp://ftp.xlink.net/pub/mirror.bisdn There is a mailing list available at isdn@muc.ditec.de The list is maintained by majordomo, so i.e. to subscribe, send a mail with the text subscribe isdn in the message body sent to isdn-request@muc.ditec.de hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH Hamburg, Europe "If you can read usenet you can read the FM" (nigel@theplanet.net)
