Are : there any gotchas that I should be aware of with FreeBSD on this setup ? : I know I'll have to get the X S/W from Caldera (I think). How about the : rest of the system ? Has anyone installed FreeBSD on a Gateway PPRo box ? I havn't tried, but I've been pricing PPro200s - get a Dell XPS Pro 200n. It costs almost #600 less ! If you can wait a week and a half, ask me how it performs then ! The only GOTCHA is that you can't use X without X-Insides (proprietry) X server - there's another company that produce an X server for Matrox, but I can't remember their name. Get them to put a #9 in there instead (or buy a Dell). -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
