The most important was the spice2g6 which was actually archived in simtel20. But it is for DJGPP c compiler for MSDOS and developed on 386bsd 0.1. Actually I also did some work on compiling VLSI tools from USB such as espresso bit optimisation. If there is enough interest I may try to archive it somewhere in the free homepages. I actually did some work which was actually incorporated into distribution but without my name mentioned. But when I was given acknowledgement especially for the spice2g6, it was too exaggerated. I'm not a maintainer of spice2g6, only porting it. However I'd like to contribute further in these directions. I'd like to retrieve my contribution but cannot trace them in the usenet newsgroups in 1992s. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it the most. One of them was the "idiot-proof Xconfig". I notice that soon after I'd posted this there are so many books for "idiots". -- Sabah is heaven. Natural beauties next to civilizations with no natural or man-made disasters. But how long will it last? Disclaimer: I only speak for myself. Homepage: http://members.tripod.com/~othmanA/index.html
