: Sorry to change the subject, but are you able to use the FreeBSD file
: system on your Windows95 machine... 'cause this is what i need to do,
: use the FreeBSD machine to store files that are accessible to every
: machine... Can you please tell me if this is possible, and if so, how
: you did this...
You can use the samba-package to achieve that. You will be able to get your
FreeBSD-disk (or a part of it) as a Network-drive on your Win'95 machine.
I get a 400 Kbyte/s transfer rate over a (cheap) NE2000-ethernet-card.
Cheers,
Sake
