I was going to suggest disklabel -e wd1 (assuming that your two partitions are next to eachother). I'm writing this on a 960323-SNAP laptop with an IDE disk, and tried "disklabel -e wd0" to see what would happen. The expected happened - I was about to post when I said ":q" from the vi that disklabel invoked. The X screen scrolled up about 2 inches and the machine rebooted...... *BANG* I suspect *your* suggestion is more workable - certainly with 960323 ! -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
