I heard bad things about the xterm that > comes with these. So I am using the old one. What's wrong with this xterm? It now uses termios by default (and one of the beta versions had a bug in that it didn't initialize the VMIN field correctly, which caused an immediate ``connection closed'' when trying to rlogin away from it), and it also includes the ANSI color support, so the various color_xterm's are no longer necessary. Apart from this, i don't see much differences. (If you are suffering from that beta version, ``stty min 1'' is your friend.) -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
