You *can* use seyon to setup a SLIP connection but then your modem cable needs to support hardware flow control (mine did not!). If you need to talk to your modem I prefer kermit because you can better see what is happening (compared to seyon). I am still suffering from `silo overflows' because my Multi-IO card does not provide a buffered UART. --Piet
