Source code is not available for it. It is not free. There has been no dispute that Accelerated X from X-Inside and MetroX both have servers for the Millenium. However both of those deals are under non-disclosure agreements. XFree86 has not entered the game because of the NDA, meaning no release of the source code, which is incompatible with the XFree86 way of doing things. This whole argument is moot. Matrox made it clear early on that they were not going to release enough infomation publicly to get a X server working. There are at least two commercial X servers for the board. If you have a Millenium, you can run X. You just have to pay. If you don't have a Millenium, you may want to consider buying a #9 or a Diamond because there are XFree86 X servers for their products. In both instances you still can run X. Let's move on to another discussion... BAJ -- Another random extraction from the mental bit stream of... Byron A.
