i've used also asus boards, and i just hate to set 1000001 jumpers.

no, i was saying at the moment until there is better ppro boards out
one gets faster performance, most likely, with other hardware...

i'm sure of that, reason why i prefer gigabyte is the way it's done,
and the fact it has 6 simm slots... sure, supermicro has too, but i
havent seen one with my eyes.

and while we are on this topic, anyone have any information about the
rumor i heard about new chopset, 430TX... benefits?

the bugs are still there, havent yet seen pro board that would actually
work as fast as it's supposed to in _all_ levels... i know eventually
intel gets there, but _until_ it happens person getting ppro should be
aware of the fact one has to change the board when the good version
is out...

atleast to me this means i am more willing to invest my money to fast
pentuim board, since i would anyway change hardware in 4-6 months...

i never claimed the gigabyte board is the only one being that fast,
i was only saying it is only one i have heard of being capable of
such a performance, sure, other boards can make it too, but there's
no documented information being published on well known media...

which chipset would that be? can i have board names too?
