I am working with very limited disk space and don't think I can recompile the source, even using a union filesystem. Related question: Is it safe to turn on the pentium optimization for the kernel, Xfree86, Mesa, etc? What sort of performance improvement can be expected? I am running on a 90 Mhz machine with an ATI graphics pro turbo (Mach 64). Thanks, Raymond C. Maple
