You should still read the Handbook and the example files in /etc/ppp
concerning iijppp. Without a local subnet, you'll want your FreeBSD
machine to do address translation (NAT), not to be a basic gateway.

If you are planning to keep your PPP connection up permanently, you
might want to consider pppd instead of iijppp. Either way, the NAT
requirements must be handled for your needs.
