The mtools suite is available in the packages distribution, and goes in very easily with pkg_add. This allows the user to read and write a succession of floppies with no trouble. While mount_msdos (or the newer mount -t msdos syntax) works, you have to remember to unmount each disk before removing it, and then mount the next one. With all due respect to the purists out there, sometimes life is just too short to be 'official' and do everything the hard way. -- Ken Are you interested in | byte-sized education | http://www.play-hookey.com over the Internet? |
