I wrote a small program called "edset" sometime ago
which comes in two variations depending on whether you are
using /dev/io or i386_iopl(sp?). If you have simple lost
the ability to recognise the card with the configuration program
this should work (it worked for me, use at your own risk)
you will need to know what the networkaddress and exact type
of the card was. You'll find edset somewhere under
pub/NetBSD/ports/i386 on wipux2.wifo.uni-mannheim.de
