As far as I know, the driver is no longer maintained by its original
author. I had the same problems with a ditto easy 800 and tried to find
out what was wrong with the driver, but without any luck. It seems to be
a problem to identify the drives. I wasn't able to find some docs about
the qic80 standard, so I decided to go with a more modern dat streamer.
