Yes, I have been using FreeBSD and Samba for several months. In fact I just installed it on FBSD 2.1.5R with Win95 and WinNT clients. Shared files and printing works great. Setup the system as a firewall and proxy for the PC clients. Users can use Netscape to browse, read news, and get mail. This is a lot cheaper than purchasing Win NT Server and buying all the 3rd pty add-ons for about $1500.00.
