The Walnut Creek cdrom.com site (which is also the home of FreeBSD and runs FreeBSD) uses a P6-150, and happily handles 1200 simultaneous anonymous FTP users along with Web service and whatever is going on internally. When I checked it just now, it told me I was user #817 out of 1200 possible.
