I can't find any documentation on this command. The documentation: fgrep OPEN_ /usr/src/usr.sbin/ppp/*.c specifically in fsm.c..... :( Still, at least it's up to date ;) It initiates the ppp handshake (the default for -direct & -dedicated) - if your ISP gets it wrong^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hdoesn't initiate, you'll just sit there, nothing happens (after connection), you time out, you redial..... etc. -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
