I would suggest popclient or a similar package. You should be able to
have it run upon completion of an IP connection, perhaps from one of the
scripts in /etc/ppp that you have to set up to make and complete the
connections. Maybe you could call it from ppp.linkup? It would then run
each time you logged in to your ISP.
