Message-ID: <6aZD02AI2bGx01@JUTS.ccc.amdahl.com> Date: 17 Nov 92 16:45:18 GMT Organization: Amdahl Corporation, Sunnyvale CA Lines: 17 I downloaded the dist.fs and used rawrite to floppy. When I boot from the floppy it reads from the floppy for a few seconds and then reboots the system. No messages... No banner... The system is a TI4000 laptop with 4meg ram and a 60 meg partition with 486sx. I believe the disk type is ide, but have not been able to find anything that says one way or another. I was able to install LINUX and it uses /dev/hdax for the driver. I would like to try BSD instead though. Any ideas??????? ----- -- *---------------------------------------------------------------------* | Work: clc30@juts.ccc.amdahl.com | Chris Caho | | Home: root@asdata.lonestar.org | Dallas, TX | *---------------------------------------------------------------------*
