I have successfully installed freeBSD 2.1.5 from cd-rom, however I
have been unsuccessful at getting ppp dial up to work .
I am able to dial my connection and get ppp ON mode
but there is no router info it just sits there. Since I am completely
new to this I will humble myself and say I am not sure what it is
supposed to be doing at this point. If some one would be kind
enough to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
I have configured my ppp.conf,rc.local,host.conf,hosts,modem,ppplinkup

resolv.conf, and sysconfig the way the man pages and/or friends have
done but still no success
using pap no chap

If my provider has 3 port masters @ 206.158.4.128/129/130 then what
should I use as gateway?...206.158.4.0?
I have a static IP also
any help is appreciated
