I had my machine running w/ an additional 2port 16550. I had com1-4 on irq 4,3,9,5. I put this in the new Dell machine and never saw com2 again. I can jumper the physical UARTS as various COMs and switch IRQs - no joy. Address 2f8 just won't probe ! It's an XPS Pro 200n.
