Assuming that, you need to configure the new drive as a slave, by placing a jumper vertically across the two middle pins of J8 (between the power connector and the ribbon cable). Check the antistatic bag the drive came in; it usually has the needed info printed on it. Your first drive must also be configured as the master (in most cases; see the manufacturer's specs, often printed on the drive label if not on the bag).
