I've got 48 ports on an EISA PC/Xem. 41 of them are currently being used. About 30 are set at 57,600, with the rest 115,200. At peak load conditions, I get an occasional "intr lost". Never an "output stalled". This is on BSDI 2.0.1. The Digiboard problems are overrated. Put more RAM in your box.
