Nope, only ppp currently supports demand-dialing. If this were a Terry Lambert posting, I'd now suggest that implementing this would be a simple matter of virtualizing the dialer/protocol interface and allowing ppp and slip to access a common dialer support library, fully template driven so you could also trivially pick your connection type from a wide array of choices, of course. :-) -- - Jordan Hubbard President, FreeBSD Project
