On a system running win95 and FreeBSD 2.1 on
Gateway 2000
486 dx2 66
32M RAM
1089 M ( Quantum FireBall 1080 IDE )
CDROM (NCR 260) (ATAPI)
I have the following problems:
1. Kernel is recompiled to support psm mouse.
"cat < /dev/psm0"
stdin resource temporarily unavailable. (something like that)
( Although I can use the mouse, I would like to know why ? )
2. FreeBSD detects the size of harddisk to be only 1039 rather than 1089.
3. ATAPI kernel detects the CDROM and hangs after few accesses.
4. I can mount Win95 partition but i cannot access the files on the dos/win95 partition.
Even directory listing would result in system failure after few accesses.
Would appreciate any help/suggestions.
Thank you
