HI,

I've been trying to get user PPP to work with my FreeBSD 2.1 I have read the docs in the
FreeBSD Handbook and set up all of the files mentioned there as instructed. I am able to
establish a connection with my ISP and when I execute the show term command from within the PPP
shell, the IP's listed appear to be within a valid range therefore I am assuming that the
dynamic IP negotiation was succesful. However, when I attampt to execute telnet, rlogin, ping
or any other network dependent command, nothing happens. I also get disconnected due to idle
timeout (approx. 5 mins). I would greatly appreciate any help in troubleshooting/configuring
PPP on my machine...

                   thanks in advance, Tom
