The kernel finds it at address 0x300 and irq 3, but exits after booting with a "trap 12, page fault at virtual address ..." and reboots. irq 3 also collides with syscon on irq 3. The hardware-readme mentions to specify a start address of 0xd000 and an amount of 32k, using the program "softset.exe". I already specified these parameters after booting with "-c". Do I also need to run this "softset"? And is there a similar Unix program, or do I have to delete BSD, install DOS, run the program and install BSD again? - I would like to use Emacs (in console mode, not with X) with the left ALT-key as the Sun Meta-key, and "backspace" instead of "del". On my Linux system at home, I could change the "default.keytab" file, but I haven't found a similar file under BSD. The "german-iso..." file doesn't seem to be right. Does anyone know how to fix these problems? Many thanks, Frank.
