What if any additional software will I : need to do it? The way I've done this in the past is to get/write an LPD Server for the Windows box. (There are several commercial implementations; I'm sure there are free ones available too.) You'll probably need to put some magic on the BSD system to ensure that the printer output is munged into the correct format for the printer (unfortunately you can't have if=/of= filters in an /etc/printcap definition if you're defining a remote printer with rm=/rp=) Chris -- yacc Labs, Leeds, UK.
