hi all.

Since we've just added our 7th disk to our news spool, I thought I would
take this opportunity to section off different SCSI disks on different
host adapters. We're using adaptec 2940 controllers.

Upon adding the second controller, the following happens:

- The BIOS scan sees the 3 disks on the first controller
- the BIOS scan sees the 3 disks on the second controller
- FreeBSD boot prompt.
- kernel comes up, sees ahc0 and ahc1 and some other stuff
- errors. (paraphrased, since I didn't write them down.)

   "Cannot mount sd0 on root"
   "init not found"
"panic. system will reboot in 15 seconds.

As soon as I pull the second controller (actually, either controller.)
off the motherboard, it boots fine. I've verified all the PNP interrupts
are free, and I've checked the termination on both scsi busses.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on here?
