I would probably agree. We have had five (5) Quantum Empire drives fail 
in the past. I do know one RAID distributor in Australia who is using
the Quantum Atlas drives (2Gb and 4Gb) and has sold many hundreds and 
not had a single failure. They tend to use Mylex SCSI-SCSI RAID 
controllers (if this matters).

What about Micropolis and Fujitsu. I have heard good things about both
in the past.
In case you haven't noticed, I am searching for new drives too.
