The problem is that the ftp server uses 022 as the default umask value. When the WIN95 clients on my network want to access the files I have shared out through SAMBA, they can only copy the files in read only format, because as part of the group, they only have read-only access on the directory. I'd like to change the default umask value for ftp so that group members have rwx permissions when a client downloads a file to the ftp server. Thanks in advance, Brian Herod
