I'm running netatalk 1.3.3 with the patches from Mark Dawson
(http://www.dcs.qmw.ac.uk/~md/netatalk/) on 2.1.0 and 2.1.5 quite happily.
*However* you need a router on the network; the patched kernel code and
atalkd don't work correctly if there is no router, or netatalk is the only
router.

Your mileage may vary.
