Just out of curiousity, if I rebuild the kernal could I direct it to find the CD-ROM at the IRQ that I have set in Windows 95. I just, and maybe I am not supposed to, cannot understand why Win 95 has no problem detecting it and the FreeBSD cannot. I can use the SB 16 IDE along with the other controllers. Can I solve this problem by getting a another CD-ROM IDE controller? If so I will get one for my open PCI slots if I can find one. I would, however, like to have it work through the SB 16.
