You have already the boot floppy. What you need is a root floppy. The boot floppy usually doesn't have much space for this, so better prepare another one. The absolutely minimal files you need are /sbin/init, /bin/sh, and /dev/console. After the kernel has been loaded (i.e., while the devices are being probed), swap the floppies. You will probably need more programs on the root floppy.
