Hi,

I am trying to install 2.1.5 on the following system

AUSU's mother board, 64MB RAM and 166Mhz
PCI-SC200 Fast SCSI Card
Seagate SCSI-2 hardrive
I am connecting panasonic 2x SCSI-2 CDROM to the SC200 SCSI card.
and I am getting folloing message :

AT the boot time it recognize the drive and gives following message:

(ncr0:5:0) "MATSHITA KME CD-ROM01 1.14" type 5 removable SCSI 2
cd0(ncr0:5:0) CD-ROM
cd0(ncr0:5:0) asynchronous

And when the installation starts I see message like:

DEBUG mounted freeBSD CDROM on device /dev/cd0a as /cdrom

(I see the CD spinning too) then I get following error message:

ncr0:5 error (80:4) (8-0-0) (e0/13) @ (6e4:72340000)
  stript cmd=800c0000
reg: da 00 80 13 47 e0 05 .......
ncr0: restart (ncr dead?)

I used the same card to install DOS system on the hardrive. I have used
the
same CDROM to install few things with my 2.0.5 freeBSD system.

Q-1. What does the error indicate?
Q-2. Is it possible that I may have bad SCSI-2 cable?

Any suggestions to solve this problem?

Thanks for the help.
