Sounds like it wasn't seated properly !

DOS is more clueless than anything else I know !

Yep - goes to show, the people that built your machine are clueless !
ALWAYS assume everyone else is a fool until proven otherwise, but more
importantly, ALWAYS assume that you're a fool too ! ;{)  It works for
me ;)
