I am having difficulties setting up my sound FreeBSD 2.1 system to play MIDI files. I *can* get it to play MOD/S3M types with Tracker and S3MOD, but I cannot get Playmidi to work. It says Aborting: Playback device not set, or something like that. Also, I am have a weird problem in X with my mouse it seem to jump all to a random place on the virtual desktop after every couple of seconds of mouse move ment. The open terminal windows display this error: Sep 18 11:29:55 morden /kernel: sio0: 151 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 151) With Sep 18 11:29:55 morden being my current date/time/and kernel name respectively. The "151" changes every time I get the error to others like 61 or some other moderatly low number and the "(total 151)" keeps adding up to the current total (i.e. 212). Anyway, without being able to control my mouse reasonably, X is pretty much useless to me. I'd **REALLY** appreciate any help on these problems. Thanks a lot! -- -Chris Brunner --cjb@efn.org- ---Eugene, OR- ----USA-------
