Anyone else had > any problems with Seagate 1gig drives? Yep - bummer ! I've seen this too. However, you'll find that "disklabel -r -e" allows you to edit the label. Leave the 'c' partition and make sure that you don't exceed it's boundaries - it represents the whole drive. Don't create a 'b' without an 'a' - swap doesn't leave any room for the label (and promptly clobbers it).
