I am trying to setup a dialin console for my BSD 2.1 system. I have
followed the instructions in the FBSD Handbook. What I think is wrong is
that teh modem needs configuration to "pick-up". (ATS0=1).

They sugesst using "TIP", however i can't seem to use tip to comunicate
with the modem.

If any one has set this up, I sure would be interested in how they
configured their modem and with what program.

Thank for any help here..... RThomasii@AOL.COM (ralph thomas)
