I have received mail from quite a few people asking about installing
MS-DOS, Linux, and 386BSD on the same drive. Until now, everything
coexisted well but I had the MS-DOS MBR and had to boot MS-DOS and
Linux from floppy. (I use 386BSD most of the time.) I have since
corrected that situation and would like to share my information with
anyone that wants to know.

After booting Linux from floppy, I installed LILO (LInux LOader) as
the MBR. It allows me to select a default boot (in my case 386BSD),
and gives me a choice if I hit the "Ctrl" key just after I turn the
computer on. I have a "lowly" 386SX, but people with faster machines
may want to use an optional timeout period for hitting the "Ctrl" key.
LILO also saves a copy of the original MBR.

I read in the LILO (version 5) README file that LILO works with
other operating systems, but 386BSD was not specifically mentioned.
I have cross-posted this so that (1) more people can use both systems,
and (2) the LILO people know it works with 386BSD.
