What I need are some good crash-course guides >to help someone with a very large amount of computer knowledge, but There is a web site at http://andrsn.standford.edu/FreeBSD which has some info you might like, as well as a link to the FreeBSD home page. There are hypertext docs on the FreeBSD cdrom itself, as well as online I have a 12-part series on setting up a mailserver using FreeBSD that I began in January, it is at http://www.computerbits.com under the Network Community section, look in the back issues starting in January. Also, Walnut Creek has a book "Installing and Running FreeBSD" by Greg Lehey that is very good at filling in some holes. Ted
