I have the midi Playmidi is weird in that it doesn't have a default playback device. If you only have a Sound Blaster or compatible, try playmidi -f <file>, but BEWARE:It's only 2-op FM, and it won't sound very good. I'm guessing here because you didn't say! Lee C.
